The FMAA Down-to-Business Luncheon (DBL) is the premier event on the FMAA calendar. With thirty firms in attendance, the DBL is the “must-attend" event for those who wish to learn more about the exciting career opportunities within the commerce industry and want to gain a competitive advantage in the graduate/internship recruitment process. The event will include a networking session before a formal sit-down lunch with two sponsor firms of your choice.

Tickets will be on sale during O-Week (Tuesday 23rd to Thursday 25th February) and from beginning of semester until Thursday 11th March between 12-2pm at Professor's Court.

GUEST SPEAKER
The event will feature an address from guest speaker, Anthony Burgess. Having studied at the University of Melbourne and Harvard Business School, Anthony has over 26 years of corporate finance experience in Melbourne, London and New York. He is currently Managing Partner at independent corporate advisory firm, Palladio Partners, and previous roles have included Global Co-Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Deutsche Bank AG in London, Head of Corporate Finance at EL&C Baillieu, and Joint Head of Corporate Finance at Potter Warburg. He is a former member of the Australian Takeovers Panel, and a member of CPA Australia and the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
