FMAA Sydney is proud to announce the launch of the Women’s Mentorship Program, a new initiative that seeks to connect female-identifying students with industry professionals from a network of accomplished FMAA Alumni in the financial services field.
For female-identifying students, the mentorship program is an invaluable opportunity for you to connect with an experienced professional in the industry you want to end up in. Being paired with a mentor with whom you share personal and professional interests can be pivotal in assisting you to make career choices in line with your goals. We encourage you to apply if you like to ask questions, seek advice, and put yourself out there.
The program involves regular catch ups in which mentors will provide in-depth insights into their respective careers and the broader finance industry. This is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the top young professionals and FMAA alumni – don’t miss out!
Ideal applicants will:
• Be studying a Commerce, Economics, Law, Engineering, Science, or Mathematics Degree
• Be able to demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for their professional pursuits
• Be able to clearly articulate their passions and how these are connected to their professional interests
Event Details:
• Date: 25 September to 23rd October
• Location: 4x Zoom Sessions across the 4-week period
Timeline:
• Expression of interest registration closes: 15 September
• Candidate outcome released: 18 September
• Mentorship sessions to start: 25 September
• Mentorship sessions to end: 23rd October (mentorship sessions will be organised between the mentor and mentee at a time that suits you both)
