UBS Investment Banking Development Challenge

The UBS Investment Banking Development Challenge offers an opportunity for students to experience hands-on a real-life transaction and gain insight into what a career as an analyst at one of Australia's leading investment banks could be like.Throughout the case competition, you’ll be guided by various country, sector and product teams in our Global Banking (GB) business. We provide coverage, advisory, capital markets and financing solutions for corporate and financial institutions.

‍We’re looking for students in Australia who:

• Are in their penultimate year of university, graduating at the end of 2027
• Have values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• Are strategic thinkers with strong communication skills
• It doesn’t matter what you’re majoring in, but you do need to have an interest in investment banking.

‍2026-27 Summer Internship Program

‍The 2-week Investment Banking Development Challenge is designed to engage students from both finance and non-finance backgrounds. The program includes workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions to help you prepare for a case study presentation. Students who perform strongly throughout the challenge may be invited to join a formal mentor program running from May to December. Participants will also have the opportunity to be fast-tracked into the early recruitment process for our 2026–27 Summer Internship Program within the UBS Sydney office.Apply hereby 4 May 2026 [12:00PM].
